I love my hair, but I am bored with the same old hairstyles. I either straighten it all or leave it slightly wavy. My hair is too long and thick to curl it with a curling iron unless I have an extra hour.

Hi I am a hairstylist , there are so many ways of doing it, first you can divide it in half, make a jagard part and put in in two ponytails up high, then take about a 1 in, peice, and smoothly wrap up the base of the tail and pin it securely,spray it w/some stiff spray do that on both sides or if you want do onley one pony tail and wrap the base , once its all secure, take peice of hair and twist until it wrinkles all the way up ,it will look like a snake or something pin all those squigles in one big bunch not to worie if peices stick out, thats the style Ill do those alot for proms they look so nice , also its realy easy to pu your hair up with some pretty chop sticks,and sooo easy!!!all you do is twist into a bun , get the stick insert it upwards then downwards, like you were weaving it, it will stay with some practice!!! sometimes I use a pen1 ha,but anyway realy try the chop sticks youll love it!!and also use products,and plenty of them.

since you have thick hair (I'm green with envy) pull it up and make like twisty buns (me I have long wavy hair and only need two, but how ever many) but twist eachstrand around and around then when it starts wrapping itself in a bun just pull it and keep wrapping.. if you want you can leave it like that or keep it up for a little big and when you take it down it should be curly *not like do do curls* (as opposed to wavy) I get compliments when I do that.. then if it gets in my way, I just wrap it back up..
