My hair is very long and am looking for some nice hair styles from similar persons. My boy friend like me to wear it always loose, however loose long hair in public is very difficult to manage and invites unwanted comments. Pls suggest. Buns are not easy with my hair as its too silky.

there's not that many hair styles that you can do with that length that will look good. i suggest cutting it. but its up to you. many people have an emotional connection to their hair, especially at that length and the idea of cutting it shorter is very hard. If you cant even put it in a bun, then theres not much else you can do

braid.....nothing much else you can do with hair that long. I knew a woman who's hair went 2 feet below her 5'0 body. She got headaches all of the time. Maybe time for a trim to the waist??

DANG, honey. that is reeeaaally long. well, i think you can either layer it, get it slightly permed, and put it up in a cute knot, OR you can use hair sticks. they always work, no matter what. but don't twist them in, or you'll definitely break them. just put your hair up in a LOOSE bun (i know its silky, but i swear this works) and take a hair stick. gently insert it going up from the bottom of the bun, and then slowly change directions so that you are suddenly sticking the stick in a downwards motion. if you need help, you can email me.

When mine was long I had the same problem. Try briads, or getting it braided, like plaits, or cornrows. It lasts a while if you get it done professionally. But that is why I cut mine off, and donated it. SO my suggestion would be to cut it off, in 10 inch segments, and donate it to locks of love. Then you can play with a new, short style!

well i live in hawaii and trust me people have wayyyyyyyy long hair here! so i think its cute when people twist it and put it in a bun..or maybe french braiding it..but tht might take a while 2 do.. so ummmmmm it also looks pretty when they just have it in a pony-tail and its nice..lol well i just read ur extra part 2 your question so i gues i dunno wut 2 tell you bout ur hair..maybe try doing half-up-half down..or getting this head bands and putting tht up then putting the rest of your hair into a low pony-tail..umm thts all i got but i hope i helped summ!!

Your hair is similar in length to mine. I manage mine by tying it into a segmented ponytail placing 10 soft cloth hair ties at about 4 inch intervals along its entire length. The other option is braiding. Both of these methods will protect your hair from damage and tangling.

long hair always look good.
secondly, i know you have to face a lot of problems because it gets tangled up etc. my ex girl friend had to face the same problem but what to do we boyfriends always like loose or untied tresses. being a male i would advice you that leave it as it is, do not cut it short or layers. try a bun it would look nice or a braid than fold it , a lot of girls do that.
i implore you to refrain from such oblivious haircuts and use the power of commitment tell your boyfriend that letting your hair loose in public is inviting griviences. you can let it loose in privacy. my girl friend did the same and it worked.
locks of love is a good organization but refrain from donating your hair to them.
i don't have the right to tell you but it takes a lot of time to create something beautiful but takes less time to destroy it.
i might have taken a lot of years for your pretty tresses to reach such a lovely length but cutting it would take just less than 10 mins. you should decide because it is your hair.
