How about a sharp elbow length haircut with a wonderful side fringe(ehe side bangs)

It look really good and if you get that hair it looks good

Since your hair is long, you oculd do the long, loose curls that everyone has right now:: Here's a pic--

You use a 1 inch orr 1 1/2 inch curling iron. What you do is nnot curl it all the way to the top of you head,just half way so they are loose. When you are done spray it with A LOT of hairspray so they stay in longer or you can just make the curls tighter so the eventually fall and become loose on their own without coming out.

Also you could do a hairstyle that is very simple. What you do is straighten your hair so it pin straight. Then you put your hair in a ponytail but tease the top of it so it has a poof.

another way you could do that it curl you hair and put it in the ponytail and tease it just like you would before just with curls. Heres a picture::
