There are several really nice male long hair styles out there. If you are willing to take care of your hair when it's longer, I would say either letting it grow all the same length (maybe about shoulder length) and maybe getting a long-layered cut which would not give you really short layers, but longer ones and still give you a nice style. I've seen this on guys before and it looks really good. Most salons will have hair style books that you can look in. I normally will either know what hair style I'm wanting or will look in the salon books for ideas. They always have really cool hair styles. I'm one who likes the funky styles more than the laid back kind.

do proper care,, like oil and shampoo them from time to time. set them up nicely and wear a helmet when u drive 2 wheelers or an open car.
